INSIDE / INTERVIEWS :

Q. Tell us about your latest CG project ?

A. I worked as character animator, facial rigger and modeler for the movie “Pan’s Labyrinth”, from the director Guilhermo del Toro (Hellboy, Blade II). I really liked how the movie came out and I had a lot of fun working on it. I can’t talk much about it, you know. The movie is coming soon to the theaters so you guys will see some of the work we did at CafeFX. It was a huge project for the amount of people we had but thanks to the great artists involved I think we did the best we could and the movie is looking really enjoyable imho.
Title: Animator Guy Chracter developed for my short-movie still in progress.

Q. What are your hopes for the future ?

A. To have my wife living with me in the USA, some kids running around us, even less time for myself but happier to have a family again. I hope I can work on better and better projects every time, doing what I love to do, having fun and making new friends always.

Q. One final question - have you read any great books recently ?

A. As I said before, my great books are always art books (or anatomy books). The fantasy is all in my head and come from all over the place (from the nature, human relations, my wife, movies, internet, books, art etc). So, I prefer to dedicate my time with technical books or art books always. I can do this for hours and I will never be tired of it. This is my latest one: Artistic Anatomy -- by Dr. Paul Richer. Have fun! J
